 The Build

Built around
the view.

The signature feature is the panoramic window a huge double glazed window sat in a hardwood frame that frames any view.

Inside, the walls are clad in Alder. It's a hardy, water-repellent timber that doesn't overheat meaning you can lean against it bare-skinned without flinching. The benches are Thermo Alder: kiln-modified for stability so they don't warp or splinter even after years of high heat and humidity.

At the heart sits a 10.5kW Huum Hive WiFi heater. Estonian-made, Red Dot-finalist, the kind of stove that's quiet enough to forget about and powerful enough to fill the space with even, deep löyly when you're ready to throw water.

Externally, premium painted black — three coats of weatherproof paint over kiln-dried European whitewood. Looks like charred timber, lasts longer in the British weather.
